The Hermitage Board of Directors publicly announces a vacancy on the School Board for Zone 4.

In accordance with Arkansas law and District policy, the Board will appoint an individual to fill this vacancy for the remainder of the unexpired term.

Eligibility Requirements:
Individuals interested in being considered for appointment must:

• Be a qualified elector; and

• Reside within the boundaries of Zone 4 of the District.

Application Process:
To be considered, interested individuals must submit a petition that includes:

• A statement of intent to be considered for the appointment; and

• Signatures of at least twenty (20) qualified electors residing within Zone 4.

Completed petitions must be submitted to the District no later than [May 4, 2026, 3:00 p.m. – at least 10 days prior to the meeting].

Appointment Meeting:
The Board of Directors will consider eligible candidates and make an appointment at a public meeting on:
Date: Monday, May 11, 2026
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Hermitage Board Room

Each qualified candidate will have the opportunity to address the Board.
