Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program

FFVP is a federally assisted program for children at eligible elementary schools during the school day to receive free fresh fruits and vegetables.

Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Public Release

The Hermitage School District is pleased to announce the district will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) during the 2025- 2026; 2026-2027; 2027-2028, and 2028-2029 school years providing meals, regardless of eligibility category, at NO CHARGE for all students at the following schools, Hermitage Elementary and High Schools that participate in the School Breakfast Program or National School Lunch Program CEP is made possible through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Special Assistance Certification and Reimbursement Community Eligibility Provision.  Federal reimbursement for meals is based on the Identified Student Percentage (ISP) established by the District. The information used to establish the ISP will be made available only to State and Federal officials for review.  All adults, e.g., visitors, teachers, support staff members, and administrators of the district must assume the full cost of the meal which is $2.75 for Breakfast and $4.75  for Lunch.

All adults (Visitors, teachers, support staff, and administrators are to pay for the full cost of the meal which is Breakfast $2.75 and Lunch $4.75. 

During special events, adult meals are $5.00.

Information on how community members/public involvement may be involved with the Wellness Committees:

Community members who want to be involved in the Hermitage Wellness Program may contact administrators or the Child Nutrition Director of the Hermitage School District for additional information about meeting dates, times, and agendas.
