In accordance with Arkansas law and District policy, the Board will appoint an individual to fill this vacancy for the remainder of the unexpired term.
Eligibility Requirements:
Individuals interested in being considered for appointment must:
Be a qualified elector; and
Reside within the boundaries of Zone 4 of the District.
Application Process:
To be considered, interested individuals must submit a petition that includes:
A statement of intent to be considered for the appointment; and
Signatures of at least twenty (20) qualified electors residing within Zone 4.
Completed petitions must be submitted to the District no later than [May 4, 2026, 3:00 p.m. – at least 10 days prior to the meeting].
Appointment Meeting:
The Board of Directors will consider eligible candidates and make an appointment at a public meeting on:

Location: Hermitage Board Room
Each qualified candidate will have the opportunity to address the Board.
