We are open! 2/2/26
Due to continued icy road conditions and in the interest of safety for our students, staff, and families, the Hermitage School District will be closed on Friday, January 30, 2026.

While we are eager to return to the classroom, many secondary roads remain slick and unsafe for bus routes and school travel.

Please stay safe and warm as we monitor conditions, and we look forward to resuming school as soon as it is safe to do so.

Hermitage School District will be closed on Thursday, January 29, 2026, due to refreezing ice-covered roadways and hazardous icy patch conditions, particularly along rural routes.

Road conditions are monitored daily as we continue to evaluate the ongoing impacts of winter weather. The safety of our students, staff, and families remains our highest priority.

Please remain safe and use extreme caution if travel is necessary, especially as temperatures drop and roadways refreeze overnight.

🛠️❤️ Problem-Solving in Action! ❤️🛠️

Senior Savannah Brian and 8th grader Brently Bunch took on a real-world challenge in our EAST program by repairing a 3D printer before they could even begin printing. After troubleshooting and fixing the issue, they successfully printed a heart for the very first time—and we couldn’t be more excited!

This is hands-on learning at its best: perseverance, teamwork, and critical thinking all in one project. Way to go, Savannah and Brently!
