HES 3-6 Grade Parents,
We begin ACT Aspire testing on Monday. Please make sure that students are at school no later than 7:50 AM and that they get plenty of rest each night next week. We will have a reward field day for students who try their best on the test and attend school every day without being tardy next week. If your child does have to miss school, you will need to contact the principal to get prior approval, so they will still be eligible for the reward. Students do best on tests when they take it in their regular classroom with their peers at the same time. We want to make sure everyone is here and on time. Thanks for your help with this!

Sports Update:
Baseball and softball games scheduled for today are cancelled.
Soccer plays Lisa @ home @ 5 and 7.

3-6 grade students MUST bring their Chromebooks AND chargers to school tomorrow in preparation for our state assessment. Thank you for your help in this.

Street tacos are being sold at tonight’s soccer game! You can drive by and pick up 3 for $6.

HHS staff have worked tirelessly today to ensure that our campus is safe and ready for students to return for on-site instruction tomorrow. Their love for our school is amazing! Also, outside cleanup crews have cleared the debris from campus. #HermitsLead
NOTE: No classes will be held in the Middle School Building at this time. All classes have been relocated, and students should read Mistie’s Message that was sent to their email for this information.

El HHS estará en sesión mañana. Padres, pidan a sus estudiantes que revisen sus correos electrónicos para que sepan a dónde ir para sus clases.

Hermitage High School experienced another devastating blow last night. The roof was blown off the back classes of the middle school building and two trees were blown over in the circle. We ask that people continue to stay off the campus at this time. We have crews currently securing the roof of the building, and we have a crew coming to remove the trees. We are are working to make plans for the coming week, and those will be shared as soon as possible. Please be patient! #HermitsLead

As you may have seen on the news, there has been damage to the middle school building at Hermitage High School. The district is working with Entergy and the city to secure the area. The road going by the softball field and the road behind the gym will be shut off until further notice. Please do not approach the area. Stay safe everyone!
