Staff and Parents,
Please complete the following three HRS surveys. Each survey will take about 5 minutes. These HRS surveys help HSD fulfill our district vision of equitable outcomes for all students. The outcomes give us a common language to name what we’re doing,
assess our current reality, align our initiatives, and determine where to go next. The surveys will close on 10/20/23. Thank you!

Congratulations! Hermitage High School for being recognized by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as a school where students demonstrated high growth on the ACT Aspire! The OEP creates an annual report entitled the Outstanding Educational Performance Awards where they recognize schools with high student academic growth. Growth is the best indicator of the positive impact that the Hermitage High School is having on students. Awards are based on the 2023 content growth score calculated by the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education. These growth scores reflect how much students at the school improved from 2022 compared to how much they were expected to grow considering prior achievement. OEP recognize schools based on Overall growth, as well as for growth in Math and English Language Arts separately. The Hermitage School District congratulates our high school students, parents, and staff who contributed to this accomplishment and success. Ms. Spain
Parents,
Please be reminded that school will be out Monday, October 9, 2023 while the Hermitage School District observes Columbus Day. Students and staff will return to school on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
