Our CNU staff and partners, K-12 Culinary Connection, hosted the first special event of the year in our cafeterias yesterday. The "Vegetable of the Month" for September is kale and our students were exposed to lots of yummy foods using kale!

Parents of HES Students, If your child registered for 21CCLC After-School, we will be keeping them tomorrow until 5:30 PM. Then, we will send them home according to how you marked transportation on the form. If you do NOT want your child to stay for after school tomorrow, you must call the office by 12:00 PM. Thank you.

Today, some Hermit students heard a presentation by the FBI, learning about their role in America. Students heard about tips to keep them safe on social media and when using their cell phones. Look for more safety education and training soon for our families and students!

Reminder: We have early release Wednesdays. All students are dismissed one hour early every Wednesday. Buses will not run until normal time. If your child rides a bus, we will keep your child at school for homework and tutoring until normal dismissal time. If you would like to change your child's transportation, be sure to call the office by 12:00 PM on Wednesday.
